Here in East Central Texas, three of the ten largest cities in the nation are located: Houston, which is 70 miles away; Dallas/Ft. Worth, which is about 175 miles away; and San Antonio, 170 miles away. Austin, the state capital, is 105 miles away. Texans are used to longer distances being considered nearby! While we’re smaller, we are home to the large campus of Texas A&M University dating back to 1876, to the Texas A&M University Research Park, and to the George Bush Presidential Library opened in 1997 on a 90-acre site at the university campus. Popular also for the many sports facilities nearby, visitors are attracted to Texas World Speedway and Kyle Field for football. The town of Bryan is our neighbor.
Hotel Services and Amenities
Our guests are offered free parking and free shuttle serving both the local Easterwood Field Airport and the main buildings of the Texas A&M University campus across the street.
